Privacy that matches the product

Your usage stays between Chrome and ChatGPT.

The extension uses your existing signed-in ChatGPT session for read-only usage requests. It does not read conversations, prompts, responses, files, browsing history, passwords, or OpenAI API keys.

Clear answers before you install.

Does it change or extend my limits?

No. The extension only displays usage information returned for your account. It cannot bypass, extend, or change limits.

Does the on-page monitor read my chats?

No. It reads normalized usage data stored by the extension and never inspects conversation or page content.

Do I need an API key?

No. It uses the signed-in ChatGPT browser session in your current Chrome profile. No OpenAI API key is requested or stored.

Why might my available information differ?

Usage windows, credits, and reset details vary by account, workspace, and plan. The extension shows only fields returned by ChatGPT.
